Chapter Nineteen

Swinging By

Somehow, Liam awoke first. It was almost surprising, given how drained he’d felt after Victoria had drained his balls. Coming to consciousness only briefly after dawn, he saw light outside their windows. He hadn’t slept to complete rejuvenation, even after spending so much energy late last night. Yawning, he supposed he should be grateful he didn’t have a headache or anything.

There was a positive to failing to get a full night’s sleep. Waking up first allowed Liam to consider his options. It allowed him to marvel at the events of last night, then peer at the beautiful woman sleeping soundly in bed beside him.

At some point in the night, she’d rolled away from him. She breathed softly in her sleep, form outlined by the covers. Even now, every hidden inch of her alluded to how voluptuous she was.

Liam couldn’t resist at least one bit of contact before climbing out of bed. Her dark hair covered her neck, and one of her shoulders, but the higher one was uncovered. Leaning in, he kissed her smooth skin, feeling his lethargy evaporate. She didn’t stir, remaining soundly asleep.

Deciding to let her rest some more, Liam quietly pulled away. She didn’t wake up as his feet touched the tiled floor of their bedroom. She didn’t awaken as he crept toward the bathroom and handled his morning hygiene needs. Nor did she wake up as he slowly dressed himself, slid open the doors to their deck, then shut them behind him.

Her body clearly wanted a little more rest. So, he provided it to her. In the meantime, patiently waiting for his chance to prove his talent as a masseuse, he went to check in with the other three women on the island he wanted to share a good morning kiss with.

He found all of them already awake. Sitting outside, eating breakfast and sipping orange juice, three sets of eyes locked onto him even before he began climbing onto their deck. He froze, almost wondering if he needed to ask to “come aboard.”

“Good morning, Liam,” Tess said, waving him up. “Is Victoria behind you?”

He shook his head. “She’s still sleeping. I didn’t want to wake her.”

Multiple sets of blue and green shared a look.

“Thoroughly exhausted, is she?” Avril commented, sipping her OJ.

“No,” Liam said. “Well, yes, I guess, but not because of that.”

“You didn’t do anything?” Tess asked.

If it’d just been the two of them, Liam would have felt far more relaxed to be open about last night’s sexual activities. However, with Anna also there, he briefly paused. Then he didn’t. Because Anna appeared just as curious as the others, perhaps more so. She was neither blushing, averting her gaze, nor looking like she wanted to depart from the conversation.

“Nothing happened that would tire her out,” Liam admitted, which caused Avril to grin.

“I didn’t realize Victoria was such a generous lover,” she said. “So, she got you off, but you didn’t return the favor? Tsk, tsk, that’s not how I taught you to behave, Liam.
